Catch You After The Fourth Of July!!!
I got to the library all ready to spend time writing this entry before I did anything else.
However, all of those anything elses just kept on happening, and here it is just a little over 30 minutes before I need to leave here in order to make it to the bus station for the last city bus (which takes place at three in the afternoon each Saturday whether or not it's a holiday).
Anyway, here's a link to my last entry here:
I believe that the biggest bit of news I need to let you know for now is that PayLess at Applewood Center is going to be having a cook-out on July 4 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. (hamburgers and hot dogs) to raise funds for Riley Children's Hospital.
In case you don't already know this, Riley and Ronald McDonald House work together in order to make things as easy as possible for sick children and their families. Click Here to learn more about the history of RMH and Riley.
If you're in the area, I hope you'll drop by. God willing and the creek don't rise, I plan to be eating lunch there this Monday.
Anyway, I won't be online again until Tuesday, as the
buses never run on Sunday (even though the library is open from 1 - 5 p.m.), and they'll also not be running this Monday, as it's Independence Day.
When I get back here on Tuesday, I'll have a lot to share about how I've spent Fourth Of July Weekend 2016 so far and how I'll be spending the rest of it.
Also, I'm going to be sharing what I was up to around this time two years ago -- which is something really neat!!!
There is some rain (which could get quite heavy and include a thunderstorm here and there) predicted for the holiday weekend in my neck of the woods. Hopefully, however, the weather will turn out to be as perfect as possible most of the time...
For now, I'm going to sign this off and will catch you again on Tuesday.
My plans now are to get to the library as early as possible and stay as late as possible and get right on writing the next blog-entry.
Of course, as always, there are going to be some distractions on my way -- but, at least, there will be larger time frame in which to work (from as soon as I can get to the library by or shortly after it opens at 9:30 a.m. until I have to break camp and catch the last bus of the evening [leave here a little before 6 p.m.]).
Okay! Time to get this both posted and shared! Have a wonderful rest-of-the-holiday-weekend!!!
